Aaron brings to EpiBiologics twenty-five years of broad experience in the life sciences and financial services sectors. Previously he served as CFO for several venture-backed private healthcare companies: Escient Pharmaceuticals (2022-2024) (sold to Incyte), GenEdit (2021-2022), Magnetic Insight (2020-2021), and Modis Therapeutics (2018-2020) (sold to Zogenix), where he led financial strategy, fundraising, investor relations, financial planning, accounting, and administrative functions. Previously, he spent four years working in business & corporate development at BioMarin, six years as an equity research analyst at Deutsche Bank and Thomas Weisel Partners, three years in FP&A (financial planning & analysis) at CV Therapeutics, and five years as a product development engineer in the medical device field. He holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from Brown University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
