We are seeking an Associate Scientist or Scientist to join our growing company as part of the Protein Sciences team to support production, quality control, and early-stage development of therapeutic molecules (e.g. bispecific antibodies). Key responsibilities include developing binding assays (BLI, SPR, ELISA, and MSD) for routine quality control as well as early-stage development efforts for clinical candidates. The candidate will also perform developability assessments of all antibodies as part of hit-to-lead optimization and assist with the purification of antibodies with established and novel formats to support antibody engineering efforts and pipeline programs.
Join a fast-paced, collaborative, cutting-edge start-up biotechnology company developing the next generation of therapeutic bispecific antibodies focused on extracellular protein degradation. Our mission is to generate novel transformative medicines for the patients that need it most.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated a sustained track record of being impactful as well as collaborative and is comfortable in a fast-paced research start-up environment.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Develop and execute BLI- and SPR-based assays for routine quality control of mono, bi-, and multi-specific antibodies
Develop and execute ELISA or MSD-based assays to support all stages of antibody development from discovery through IND-enabling studies
Perform developability assessments of monoclonal and bispecific antibodies to support antibody discovery group
Assist in the purification of monoclonal and bi- and multi-specific antibodies
